Synopsis: The Cortez arrives to resupply for another mapping mission on the Rim. After it departs through the jumpgate, the Cortez tracking system malfunctions. Sheridan sends Zeta Wing into hyperspace to set up a life line. Cmdr. Galus and Lt. Keffer are sideswiped by a shadowy ship. Galus' Starfury is destroyed. Keffer's is disabled, but he manages to direct the Cortez to safety. Another shadow ship passes by, and Keffer uses its flight path to plot his way home.
