Minbari

The Minbari are the most technologically advanced of the younger races. Their race is divided into three castes - warrior, worker and religious. Each caste has rigidly defined roles in Minbari culture. The Minbari are governed by the nine-member Grey Council, which until recently was comprised of three members from each of the three castes. The Minbari fascination with three traces back to the time of Valen, the great leader who united the clans and created the Grey Council.
